Board Access & Custom Domains
Configure how your board is accessed and set up custom domains for a branded experience.
This page is for tenant admins in Extended License mode.
Go to Admin > Settings > Board Access tab.
Board URL
Your board is accessible at a URL determined by your platform's access method.
| Access Method | URL Format | Notes |
|---|---|---|
| Subdomain | {your-slug}.platform-domain.com | Each tenant gets a unique subdomain |
| Path-based | platform-domain.com/{your-slug} | Tenants share the main domain |
| Custom Domain | your own domain | Fully branded experience |
The access method is configured by the platform operator.
Custom Domains
If your plan includes custom domains, you can connect your own domain to your feedback board.
- Click Add Custom Domain
- Enter your domain (e.g.
feedback.yourdomain.com) - The system displays the DNS records you need to add
- Go to your DNS provider and add the CNAME or A record as shown
- Come back and click Verify
Domain Status
After adding a domain, it goes through several stages:
| Status | Meaning |
|---|---|
| Pending | Domain added, waiting for DNS propagation |
| DNS Verifying | System is checking your DNS records |
| Verified | DNS records confirmed successfully |
| SSL Provisioning | Setting up SSL certificate for HTTPS |
| Active | Fully working with SSL — your domain is live |
| Failed | An error occurred during provisioning |
| Fallback | Automated provisioning failed, using manual mode |
The system automatically re-checks DNS every few minutes. Click Check Status for a manual check at any time.
Primary Domain
If you have multiple domains connected, you can set one as your primary domain.
- Find the domain you want to make primary
- Click Make Primary
The primary domain is used in:
- Email links sent to your users
- Shared URLs and embeds
Troubleshooting Domains
DNS not verifying
- DNS propagation can take up to 48 hours — wait and try again
- Verify the DNS records match exactly what the system requires
- Check for conflicting records (e.g. existing A records on the same subdomain)
SSL not provisioning
- DNS must be verified first before SSL can be provisioned
- If DNS is verified but SSL is stuck, click Retry SSL
Domain shows "Failed"
- Check the error message displayed for the domain
- Click Retry to attempt provisioning again
- If the issue persists, contact the platform operator
