Everything you need to know about creating your account, signing in, and customizing your experience.

Creating an Account

Email and Password

1. Click Sign Up
2. Fill in the registration form:
   • Name - Your display name
   • Email - A valid email address
   • Password - Must meet the following requirements:

Requirement	Detail
Minimum length	8 characters
Uppercase	At least one uppercase letter
Lowercase	At least one lowercase letter
Number	At least one digit
Symbol	At least one special character

3. Click Create Account
4. Check your email for a verification link and click it to activate your account

Social Login

You can also sign up instantly using a social account:

• Google
• GitHub
• Discord
• Slack

Click the corresponding button on the sign-up page. Your account is created automatically using your social profile information.

Logging In

Email and Password

1. Click Log In
2. Enter your email and password
3. Optionally check Remember me to stay logged in
4. Click Log In

Social Login

Click the social provider button (Google, GitHub, Discord, or Slack) to log in with your connected account.

Forgot Password

If you have forgotten your password:

1. Click Forgot Password on the login page
2. Enter your email address
3. Check your email for a reset link
4. Click the link and set a new password

Tenant Picker

If your email is associated with multiple tenant boards, you will see a tenant picker after logging in. Select the board you want to access from the list.

Profile Settings

Access your settings by clicking your avatar in the navigation bar, then selecting Settings.

Profile Tab

Manage your public identity:

• Display name - How your name appears to others
• Email - Your account email address
• Bio - A short description about yourself
• Company name - Your organization (optional)
• Profile photo - Upload or change your avatar

Password Tab

Change your password:

1. Enter your current password
2. Enter your new password (must meet the same requirements as registration)
3. Confirm the new password
4. Click Save

Notifications Tab

Control which notifications you receive:

Notification Type	Description
Status changes	When a feature you follow changes status
Admin responses	When an admin posts an official response
New comments	When someone comments on a feature you follow
Replies	When someone replies to your comment
Vote milestones	When a feature you submitted reaches a vote milestone
Weekly digest	A summary of activity on features you follow

Appearance Tab

Choose your preferred theme:

• Light - Light background with dark text
• Dark - Dark background with light text
• System - Automatically matches your operating system setting

Privacy Tab

Control your email visibility. Choose whether other users can see your email address on your profile.

Social Connections Tab

Manage linked social accounts:

• Connect a new social account (Google, GitHub, Discord, Slack)
• Disconnect a social account you no longer want linked

In-App Notifications

Notification Bell

A bell icon in the navigation bar shows your unread notification count.

Managing Notifications

1. Click the bell icon to open the notifications panel
2. View all your notifications in a list
3. Click a notification to go to the related feature
4. Click the mark as read button on individual notifications
5. Use Mark all as read to clear all unread notifications

Warnings

If an admin issues a warning to your account, it will appear as a banner at the top of the page. You must acknowledge the warning by clicking the dismiss button before continuing to use the board normally.

Data Export

You can download a copy of all your data:

1. Go to Settings
2. Click Export My Data
3. A JSON file will download containing:
   • Your profile information
   • All feature submissions
   • All your votes
   • All your comments

Deleting Your Account

If you wish to permanently delete your account:

1. Go to Settings
2. Click Delete Account
3. Confirm the deletion

What Happens When You Delete Your Account

Data	What Happens
Profile and credentials	Permanently removed
Feature submissions	Remain visible but show "Deleted User" as author
Votes	Removed (vote counts on features will decrease)
Comments	Remain visible but show "Deleted User" as author
