The Public Board
The public board is where all published feature requests live. Browse ideas, vote on what matters to you, submit your own suggestions, and join the conversation.
Browsing Features
The main page displays all published feature requests. Each card shows:
- Title and description preview
- Vote count with vote button
- Comment count
- Category badge (color-coded)
- Current status badge
Filtering
You can narrow down the list in several ways:
| Filter | How to Use |
|---|---|
| By Status | Click the status tabs: All, Under Review, Planned, In Progress, Completed, Declined |
| By Category | Use the category dropdown or click category pills |
| By Search | Type in the search bar - searches titles and descriptions |
Sorting
Use the sort dropdown to reorder features:
- Popular - Most votes first
- Recent - Newest first
- Oldest - Oldest first
- Most Commented - Most discussed first
My Activity
Logged-in users can click My Activity to see only features they submitted or voted on.
Feature Detail Page
Click on any feature card to open its detail page. Here you will find:
- Complete title and description (with rich text formatting)
- Current status with color indicator
- Category label
- Vote count with list of voter avatars (if enabled by admin)
- Full comment thread with replies
- Image attachments (click to view full-size)
- Creation date and author name
- Follow/Unfollow button
- ETA date (if set by admin)
Voting
Click the vote button on any feature to add your vote. Click again to remove it.
Anonymous Voting
If the admin has enabled anonymous voting, you can vote without creating an account. Your vote is tracked by a browser cookie.
Vote Limits
The admin may set a maximum number of votes per user:
| Limit | Meaning |
|---|---|
| Unlimited | Vote on as many features as you like |
| 1 | You can only vote on one feature at a time |
| 3 | You can spread up to 3 votes across features |
| 5 | You can spread up to 5 votes across features |
If you have reached your vote limit, you must remove a vote from another feature before voting on a new one.
Submitting Features
Logged-in users can submit new feature requests:
- Click Submit Feature (or the + button)
- Fill in the form:
- Title - A short, descriptive name
- Description - Detailed explanation (rich text editor)
- Category - Select the most relevant category
- Attachments - Optional, up to 3 images (PNG/JPG/GIF, max 5 MB each)
- Click Submit
If the admin requires approval, your feature enters the moderation queue and will not appear publicly until an admin approves it.
Comments & Discussion
Engage with other users and the team through comments on any feature:
- Post a comment - Write your thoughts in the comment box
- Reply to a comment - Threaded replies keep conversations organized
- Edit your comment - Fix typos or update your thoughts
- Delete your comment - Remove comments you no longer want visible
- Like a comment - Click the heart icon to show appreciation
Official Comments
Comments from admins are visually highlighted with a special badge so you can easily spot official responses.
Comments support rich text formatting including bold, italic, links, and lists.
Following Features
Stay up to date on features you care about:
- Open the feature detail page
- Click the Follow button
You will receive notifications when:
- The status changes
- An admin posts an official response
- New comments are added
To stop receiving notifications, click Unfollow.
Roadmap
The roadmap gives you a high-level view of what is planned, in progress, and completed.
Views
| View | Description |

| Timeline View | Scrollable list grouped by status |
Filtering
Use the category pills at the top to filter the roadmap by category.
The roadmap title and subtitle are customizable by the admin and may vary between boards.
Reporting Content
If you see something that does not belong, you can report it:
- Click the report icon (flag) on any feature or comment
- Select a reason:
- Spam
- Duplicate
- Inappropriate
- Harassment
- Off-topic
- Other
- Add an optional message with more details
- Submit the report
Reports go to the admin's moderation queue for review.
Reporting is rate-limited to prevent abuse.
Newsletter & Announcements
Newsletter Subscription
Stay informed about board updates:
- Scroll to the bottom of the board or roadmap page
- Enter your email address
- Click Subscribe
Announcements
Admins can publish announcements that appear as colored banners at the top of the board:

| Error | Red | Critical alerts |
You can dismiss an announcement after reading it.
