Accessing the Dashboard

  1. Log in as an admin
  2. Click Admin in the navigation
  3. You'll land on the Dashboard (Analytics) page

Stats Cards

At the top, you'll see four stat cards:

CardWhat It Shows
Total VotesTotal votes cast across all features
Active UsersUsers who have interacted (voted, commented, or submitted) during the selected period
Total CommentsComments posted on all features
Page ViewsTotal page views on your feedback board

Each card displays the current value along with the change compared to the previous period (e.g., "+12% vs last period" or "-5 vs last period"), giving you a quick sense of whether engagement is trending up or down.

Time Range Filter

Before diving into the charts, use the time range filter at the top of the dashboard to control the period for all analytics:

OptionPeriod
24hLast 24 hours
7dLast 7 days
30dLast 30 days
90dLast 90 days

Changing the time range updates all stats cards, charts, and lists on the dashboard simultaneously.

Activity Chart

The main chart shows activity over time as a combined line/bar chart with daily granularity:

  • Bar segments = New features submitted each day
  • Line (green) = Votes cast per day
  • Line (purple) = Comments added per day

Hover over any data point to see the exact count for that day. You can click the legend labels to show or hide individual data series.

Top Features

This section shows the 5 most-voted feature requests for the selected time period.

For each feature you'll see:

  • Feature title
  • Vote count
  • Current status
  • Category

Click a feature title to navigate directly to its detail page where you can edit, change status, or respond.

Recent Activity

Shows the latest actions on your board:

  • New feature submissions
  • New votes
  • New comments
  • Status changes

This helps you quickly see what's happening.

Category Breakdown

A donut chart showing the distribution of features by category. Each segment is color-coded to match the category color you configured. This helps you see:

  • Which categories get the most requests
  • Where users are focusing their feedback
  • If you need to add or merge categories

Hover over a segment to see the exact count and percentage for that category.
